Catherine Kistler

Hello! I am a current PA student with Yale School of Medicine’s PA Online Program.

Prior to attending PA school, I worked as an EMT-B and search and rescue volunteer in Yosemite National Park. I also spent over a year in Granada, Nicaragua working as a medical assistant in a non-profit primary care clinic. This experience fostered my passion for global health.

I have further experience volunteering in clinics and rural areas in and around Peralta, Dominican Republic and also helped to implement a diabetes education program in the area. I am fluent in Spanish and currently volunteer with a Spanish-speaking and uninsured patient population in the Chicago area.
