I graduated in 2018 from Stanford University with a degree in Global Public Health and Ethics and am currently a first year PA student at University of Colorado CHA/PA program. I am in the Global Health track in the School of Medicine and am also president of my class’s student body government. I aspire to become a leader in healthcare and use my career in medicine to advocate for my patients’ well being and fight against social injustices that affect their health.
Global Health Experience
I have been on multiple short term mission trips to Peru, Ecuador, Nepal, and Panama, which helped me discover my passion for global health and the need for sustainable solutions in health infrastructure. This last spring, I had the opportunity to live in Guatemala for 2 months and work alongside a group of rural community health promoters. I also spent 9 months at a non-profit in the inner city of San Francisco doing community health education, social work, and clinic management.
